I have been living in the Nagoya area for many years now and I have seen many different festivals and events. Even though I’ve been here such a long time, I’m sure there are still many things I’ve never seen. I’m always interested in exploring, so this year I decided to try a festival I’ve never made time for. The wisteria festival.
There are two famous spots that I know of for viewing wisteria. Tennogawa Park in Tsushima and Mandara Temple in Konan. I had never been to either place. I was very impressed with the beauty of the wisteria trees.
For those of you who enjoy cherry blossoms but have never seen the wisteria, you don’t know what you are missing just a month later. If you enjoy eating and drinking outside during hanami season, this is perfect for you.

  僕の知っている藤まつりで有名な場所が2つあります。津島市の天王川公園と江南市の曼陀羅寺です。僕は、これまでどちらの場所にも行ったことがありません。藤の木の美しさに僕はとても感動しました。
  桜の花見を楽しんでいるのにまだ藤を見たことのない人は、1カ月後に見逃しているものに気づいていないでしょう。もし、花見のシーズンに外で飲食するのを楽しんでいるのなら、これはあなたにぴったりです。
